How Does the Point System Work for Drivers Licenses in Missouri?

How Does the Point System Work for Drivers Licenses in Missouri?

The Missouri Department of Revenue adds points to your license in the State of Missouri when it receives notification that you have been found guilty of a moving traffic violation.

The number of points you receive depends on the type of conviction you incur. For example, you receive 2 points if you are found guilty for a speeding ticket (3 points if the charge is a state charge). But you receive 12 points on your record if you are found guilty of leaving the scene of an accident.

You should always try to protect your driving privilege and your license with the assistance of an attorney who specializes in traffic law.

We are St. Louis traffic ticket lawyers who can help you with your Missouri traffic tickets.
